HEART IN MOUTH

Hey POET!

Yes you, stop looking behind yourself. I'm talking to you.

Yes I know you don't call yourself a poet, not out loud anyway, but I know you're a poet.

How do I know this, you say?

Because you're reading this, and you can write, and if you can write, you can put words down on paper in a certain way, and if you can do that then you can write what you feel - therefore achieving MAXIMUM POIGNANCY!

You don't have to be poignant all the time, but the way you're head is hanging there as you stare into your weetabix I get the feeling you could be good at it.

Take it from me - you're a poet. Everybody is. It's like that saying. You're like a stopped clock, and even a stopped clock writes poetry some of the time.

Anyway, look at this. It's fucking deadly.

It's a Poetry Competition. But it's different.

You use your voice.

That's right. That thing that you're not using now. Your voice. Component numero uno in all good poetry, written or not.

Read the info below, record your file, save it as an MP3 and send the file to the Lillian's email below.

MP3!? You say, EM PEE fokking TREE? How do I do that? I'm a luddite! It's complicated, wa wa waaah!

It's easy. Go join soundcloud. If you don't know about Soundcloud shame on you. It's like facebook, but it's voicebook. If you have a smartphone you can record anywhere, anytime. Then hit download when you're done and SHAZAM. MP3.

I look forward to hearing your creations. Here's the deets. When you're done reading, finish your weetabix.
